What can I report?

News can be a spectacular at-bat in a little league game or an in-depth investigation. Choose a news topic, type it, proof it and upload it to cdispatch.com. Our editors will edit the story and will publish appropriate stories on our Web site. Select stories will be published in the print edition of The Commercial Dispatch. If you simply have a news tip, use our Suggest a Story feature.

How can I do it?

There is some preparation involved in creating a good news story. Collect all of your information before you submit it to cdispatch.com. In addition to typing and proof-reading the story, go ahead and get your photos ready. You will have the opportunity to upload multiple photos so have those ready before you start the process. Simply use the form to the right to submit your story. YouTube Reporter's Central is a great resource for information on being a citizen journalist.
