At the Hitching Lot Farmers' Market in Columbus July 22, Vilma Widner holds up a couple of snacks popular in her native Philippines. In her right hand is lumpia, a spring roll type appetizer filled with vegetables and sometimes meats. In her left hand, the first-year vendor holds up ice candy she makes for market days.
