President Mary Faglie welcomed everyone and led the club prayer and the conservation pledge. Helen Reed introduced the speaker, Rufus Ward. He gave an interesting program on how and who established Columbus and the surrounding area. He told of former owners of properties that are now listed on the historical record.
Minutes were read and approved from the last meeting of the year and a financial report was given.
A report was given on the care of the Northaven Woods entrance.
Faglie reported that the next meeting would be held in the Artz Fellowship Hall of First Methodist Church; the Columbus Garden Clubs will co-host.
With no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served.
