The Mississippi State University President’s Commission on the Status of Women is asking the Golden Triangle community to nominate individuals for the Outstanding Women Awards, which recognize an MSU faculty member, professional staff, support staff, graduate student and a Starkville community member who have worked to advocate for the well-being, development and advancement of all women on the MSU campuses and surrounding communities.
Each award recipient will receive a $1,000 award and will be recognized at a public ceremony in April. The deadline for applications and nominations is Feb. 25. Applications can be found at committees.msstate.edu/pcsw/forms.php, or contact Carmen Wilder, assistant director of Student Leadership and Community Engagement, at [email protected] or 662-325-1482.
