Admission is free to this family-friendly, sanctioned barbecue contest at the Riverwalk in downtown Columbus. Donations will be accepted for the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society.  

 

 

 

Friday, April 12 

 

(Gates open 4-11 p.m.) 

 

6:15-7:30 p.m. - Big Joe Shelton 

 

8-11 p.m. - Freeway Band 

 

 

 

Saturday, April 13 

 

(Gates open 9 a.m.-6 p.m.) 

 

9-10:30 a.m. - Coca-Cola Kids Que'ing  

 

10 a.m.-2 p.m. - Miss. Dept. of Transportation "Convincer" 

 

11 a.m.-1 p.m. - Tennessee songwriter/performer Taylor Hoch 

 

2-4 p.m. - Wild Magnolias 

 

4 p.m. - Awards presentation 

 

Children's activities and craft vendors during the day 

 

Concessions are available. No coolers, please. Lawn chairs recommended.
