The Clay County Historical and Genealogical Society announces that its 2016 West Point-Clay County Calendar is now on sale. The calendars featuring historic images of West Point and the surrounding area are available at Annabelle’s Antique Mall, Hair Designs, Bits N Pieces and Mawmaw’s Treasures, all in West Point. Cost is $12 each. Shipping is available at $4.50 for one calendar, $5 for two, or $8 for three or four calendars.
Proceeds will benefit the organization, which plans to use funds raised for projects related to history and genealogy of Clay County, including providing support for the local history room at the Bryan Public Library.
The Clay County Historical and Genealogical Society is dedicated to the study and investigation of genealogical history and records. It receives and collects genealogical and historical records, depositing those records in libraries and archives, preserving them and making them available to the public and future generations.
The group welcomes genealogical and historical information concerning Clay County and its families.
