Mississippi University for Women will host the 2010 Women”s Center for Entrepreneurship Smart Start Series.
This series will be an interactive educational event geared toward helping and empowering women in making smart choices and decisions that can lead to successful business ventures. Workshop dates are set for Feb. 25, March 11 and 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Women”s Center for Entrepreneurship at MUW offers support, training, counseling and resources for existing businesses and start-ups with a unique, hands-on approach. The staff holds a high interest in creating business successes and will get involved and stay involved until those they help have all the resources needed to accomplish goals.
Although the Women”s Center for Entrepreneurship offers a special focus on women and other under-served entrepreneurs, the organization is a strong advocate for any start-up business and entrepreneurial endeavor.
Clients have access to:
- Time and personal attention
- An extensive business resource library
- A computer lab
- Peer-to-peer mentor partners
- Group training classes/workshops
