Welty Writers’ Symposium — “Big Fish” author Daniel Wallace is the keynote author at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in Poindexter Hall, kicking off the Welty Writers’ Symposium at Mississippi University for Women. A reception and book signing by Wallace and numerous additional authors who will speak Oct. 20-21 follows. All sessions are free.
