Little Hands, Big Trucks -- This United Way of Lowndes County fundraiser from 9 a.m.-noon at the Columbus Soccer Complex at Second Avenue and Second Street North invites youngsters (of all ages) to explore vehicles from fire trucks and ambulances to excavators and tractors. A special sensory hour from 9-10 a.m. caters to individuals with special needs or anyone who enjoys a horn-free visit. Armbands are $5 at the event.
