Special to The Dispatch

Jack Martin of Starkville, and Ava Cornelisen and Jude Alnas, both of Columbus, are among more than 250 University of Alabama students receiving hands-on, advanced educational experience with dozens of companies and organizations nationwide through UA's Cooperative Education Program for fall 2018.

Martin will work at Brasfield & Gorrie in Birmingham, Alabama. Cornelisen will work at International Paper in Columbus. Alnas will work at Southern Research in Birmingham.

Students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment in work related to their academic major or career interests.
