VETERAN'S APPRECIATION CEREMONEY

You are invited to attend the 3rd quarterly veterans ceremony at the Columbus War Museum on August the 13th at 5:00 pm. The museum is located inside the Columbus Municipal Complex at 1501 Main Street, Columbus, MS. For the first time the ceremony will be held inside the city council room.

Our keynote speaker will be WW2 Veteran Phil McGuire, Ball Truant Gunner on a B17 bomber. He will account for the men aboard the Patti Jo. The 5th printing of his book “Mississippians of the Mighty Eight” will be available soon. Emmy award winner Nathaniel Best will sing the national anthem.

Many local businesses have contributed to making this event very special in honor of our local Veteran's.
