Prepare for the drum roll. The Columbus Arts Council and Golden Triangle Regional Airport will host a gala at the airport Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. to draw for a luxury trip for two to New York City.
The party will feature a New York City theme, and by the end of the evening one lucky winner and a guest will know they can start planning their trip to the Big Apple.
Double decker ride
The Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide transportation on their double decker bus to and from the airport, departing from the Rosenzweig Arts Center at 501 Main St. at 4:45 p.m. Wine and cheese will be served prior to boarding. Guests also have the option of meeting at the airport. The evening includes live music by the duo Two Jazzy of Columbus, New York-inspired drinks and hors d”oeuvres.
Five-star trip
The winner of the raffle will receive a trip for two with roundtrip airfare from GTRA to New York City, limousine transportation to and from the airports, four nights at the stylish Casablanca Hotel in the Theater District, orchestra seats for two Broadway plays, drinks at Sardi”s, dinner at The French Culinary Institute”s L” Ecole Restaurant, a Circle Line tour of Manhattan, brunch at The Essex House Hotel, plus a $500 Visa gift card.
This trip is sponsored by the arts council, GTRA and Roberts Travel. The Columbus-Lowndes Development LINK is a co-host of the Dec. 2 party.
