Jocelyn Christine Gong of Greenwood and Thomas Carl Rollins Jr. of Columbus were married Dec. 20, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. at the North Greenwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Wheat officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry D. Gong Sr. of Greenwood. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Way T. Jue, formerly of Rosedale, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gong, formerly of Duncan. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore an original custom-designed gown by designer Stephen Yearick with clusters of beading, rhinestones, iridescent Austrian crystals and rocals were hand-beaded in the embroidered English net. The veil of illusion fell from a comb to fingertip length. Bett Walker Fuller of Jackson served as the matron of honor. Andrea Komm of Southhaven served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angelica Jue of West Los Angeles and Jessica Jue of Artesia, Calif., cousins of the bride; JoBeth Gilmer Lee of Flowood; Lacy Crumrine of Oxford; Danielle Lacy of Hickory Flat and Mandy Nelson Gong of Brandon, sister-in-law of the bride. The bridal attendants wore Watters & Watters strapless designer gowns of slate colored luminescent taffeta with draped bodices and V-backs. The groom is the son of Thomas Carl Rollins Sr. and Mildred Proffitt Rollins, both of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Profitt of Coker, Ala., Mrs. Florence Rollins of Columbus and the late Mr. Jimmy Carl Rollins. John Michael Rollins, of Columbus, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Jason Brewster of Starkville; Harry D. Gong Jr., and Matthew Scott Gong,brothers of the bride, both of Brandon; Tyler Lee of Flowood; Chris Loschiavo of Fayetteville, N.C.; Jonah Taylor of Dallas and Jeremy Winders of Columbus. After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in Jackson where the groom is in his third year of law school at Mississippi College and the bride is a registered nurse in the surgical intensive care unit at the University Medical Center.
