JoAnna Younger of Columbus and John Cottrell Jameson IV of West Point were married at 6 p.m. Aug. 27, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Columbus, with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. The bride is the daughter of Sen. and Mrs. Charles Albert Younger of Columbus. She is the granddaughter of Dr. Leonard J. Goodgame of Aberdeen and the late Mrs. Goodgame, and Mrs. John Bishop and the late Mr. Charles J. Younger. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a fitted floor-length ivory gown with a lace overlay and Juliet sleeves. She also wore a floor-length veil and carried a bouquet of white cabbage roses tied with lace from her motherís and grandmotherís gowns. Elizabeth Lucas of Nashville, Tennessee, and Sarah-Fey Rumbarger of Jackson served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Joely Henderson Musgrove of Jackson, cousin of the bride; Larkin Christine White of Oxford; Sarah Kramer Forman of Boston, Massachusetts; Rachel Wall Blaise of Columbus; Caitlyn Terrell Smith of Birmingham, Alabama; Allie Prater Judkins of Jackson; Allison Jameson Hannah of Meridian, sister of the groom; Madison Phillips Smith of Jackson; Tiffany Lauren Wright of Birmingham; Katheryn Jameson Anderson of West Point, sister of the groom; Lillian Askins Lalo of Birmingham; and Erin Pontius Hovanec of Jackson. Ann Bryan Penn, Madyson Reece Parker and Sara Chandler Lawshe served as flower girls. Bridal attendants wore dusty rose floor-length gowns. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cottrell Jameson III of West Point. He is the grandson of Mrs. John Cottrell Jameson Jr. and the late Mr. Jameson, and the late Dr. and Mrs. John Neil Turnage Sr. of Aberdeen. Serving as best men were the groomís father and the groomís brother, Benjamin Turnage Jameson of Memphis, Tennessee. Groomsmen were Daniel Fox Haas of West Point; Toxey Neill Haas of West Point; Joseph Tanner Harris of Tupelo; Michael Albert Younger of Columbus, brother of the bride; James Phillip McClellan of West Point; Andrew Paul Dicheria of West Point; John Clayton Asters of Tupelo; Charles Colton Younger of Columbus, brother of the bride; and John Hunter Ester of West Point. James Granville Anderson IV, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. Following a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in West Point, where the groom is a service manager at Adventure ATV and the bride is a speech therapist in the West Point Consolidated School District.
