Elizabeth Claire Lucas and Frederick Tatum Henson, both of Nashville, Tennessee, were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 22, 2016, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Miramar Beach, Florida, with Father Tom Guido officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Perry Lucas of Columbus. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joseph Sam Iupe Sr. of Canton and the late Mr. Iupe, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dreyer Lucas of West Point. The bride wore a fitted silhouette ivory gown with a lace overlay, a sprinkling of demure buttons down the back of the gown and a hand-beaded sash. Her cathedral-length veil of ivory tulle was scattered with lace embellishments. JoAnna Younger Jameson of West Point served as matron of honor. Emily Marie McConnell of Columbus served as maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Catherine Waddell Dambrino of Jackson; Lindsay Knapple Henson of Tupelo, sister-in-law of the groom; Linn Sekenis Nowell of Athens, Georgia; Roshni Ashok Patel of Dallas, Texas; and Natalie Boyd Warnock of Memphis, Tennessee. Bridal attendants wore floor-length, stormy-blue chiffon dresses featuring a halter-style neckline, natural waistline and full flowing skirt. Bess Francis Henson of Tupelo, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. The groom is the son of Mr. David Wright Henson Sr. of Tupelo and Ms. Mary Sandra Tatum Henson of Tupelo. He is the grandson of Mrs. Frederick Edward Tatum of Hattiesburg and the late Dr. Tatum, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marion Henson of Okolona. David Wright Henson Jr. of Tupelo, brother of the groom, served as best man. Serving as groomsmen were William Rodgers Briscoe of Oxford; John Gregory Lucas of Jackson, brother of the bride; Alan Sanders Pryor of Nashville, Tennessee; Reid Hudson Ross of Nashville; Aaron Eastland Stamm of Greensboro, North Carolina; and Charles Palmer Threadgill of Colorado Springs, Colorado. William Walker Robertson of Meridian, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Following a wedding trip to Hermitage Bay, Antigua, the couple resides in Nashville, where the bride is a certified public accountant and an audit senior with Deloitte & Touche LLP, and the groom is a territory sales manager for Brunzl Distribution.
