Mason Brown and Barbara Jean Daniel of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Jean Daniel, of Nashville, Tenn., to Keith Edward Bordeaux of Nashville, son of Ed and Dreama Bordeaux, and Richard and Patricia Browder of Columbia, S.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Isabel Margaret Christopherson of Columbus and the late George Wilhelm, and the late Barnie Lee and Mary Isabelle Daniel of Huntsville, Ala. She is a 2000 graduate of Columbus High School and a 2004 graduate of Mississippi College, with a Bachelor of Science in biology.She was the president of Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society and a member of Nenamoosha Social Tribe. She is currently a graduate student at Mississippi University for Women and a violinist in Nashville. The prospective groom is the grandson of Ester Bordeaux of Bladenboro, N.C., and the late Wilson Bordeaux, and the late Eugene and Lola Vorhees of Chester, Va. He is a graduate of Lexington High School and Liberty University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is currently employed as a marketing manager for Compassion International in Nashville. Wedding vows will be exchanged Jan. 23, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Owen Chapel Church of Christ in Brentwood, Tenn.
