Marion Leigh Mims and Larkin Edward DeMoville III were married June 9, 2012, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Vicksburg, with Father P.J. Curley and Monsignor Patrick Farrell officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lloyd Mims of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louis Richard Theobald Jr. and the late Mr. Theobald, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Crawford Mims, all of Vicksburg. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of Alencon lace beaded with pearls and crystals featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline. An organza sash with crystal beading encircled her waistline and fell into an A-line skirt and cathedral train. She wore a beaded-edge veil of illusion. Chandler Glenn Mims served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Anne Easley and Anna Catherine Taylor, both of Jackson, Sarah Mitchell Ballinger of Brandon, Mary Myers Franco of Meridian, Kathryn Ryan Lagrone of Ocean Springs, Mary Lindley Mims of Madison, Brittany Willis Morgan of Sturgis, Courtney Elizabeth Rogillio of Clinton, Amanda Caroline Wells of Columbus, Jennifer Hart Burke of Memphis, Tenn., and Ednah Elizabeth Federick of Lake Charles, La. Attendants wore petal pink chiffon dresses with strapless bodices with split-front, floor-length skirts. Marion Miller Theobald, godchild of the bride, served as flower girl. She wore an ecru silk tea-length dress accented with a petal pink sash. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Edward DeMoville of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mrs. Shelby Lamar Mikell Jr. of Columbus and the late Mr. Mikell of Ridgeland, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Allison DeMoville. The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Douglas Bruce Branch, Terry Wayne Brown Jr., Leyton Mikell DeMoville, Derrick Conn Forrester, Joseph Brent Hallmark, Andrew Blake Olsen, Richard Wilkes Spann and Richard Blake Woodruff, all of Columbus, Benjamin Larkin Ellis of Hernando, Matthew Lloyd Mims of Vicksburg and Benjamin Joshua Pierce of Starkville. Lawson Pryor Mullins of Starkville served as ring bearer. Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Columbus.
