Item No. 1 - Mississippi State men's men's tennis news -  

 

 

 

No. 10 State Tennis Match With No. 27 LSU Postponed Until Saturday 

 

Mississippi State's 10th-ranked men's tennis squad's match with No. 27 LSU, scheduled for Friday, has been postponed until Saturday morning at 10 a.m. CT. due to a full afternoon of rain. 

 

As rain began pouring on the courts of the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre, coaches and match officials gave the confirmation to move the SEC West match to Saturday morning.  

 

State is currently 14-4 overall and leads the SEC West at 5-1. LSU holds an 11-7 slate and is 2-4 in SEC play.

Item No. 2 - Mississippi State baseball news -  

 

 

 

Pretty good thundershower hitting the Auburn area so the tarp is down at Plainsman Park and the Friday night contest between MSU and Auburn is currently in a rain delay. MSU spokesperson Joe Dier says depending on how long it takes to get the field ready after it quits raining is when a determination will be made on if the game will be played tonight. Stay tuned...In the meantime follow Dier at @joe_dier on Twitter for updates to the weather situation. 

 

 

 

Item No. 3 - Mississippi State softball news -  

 

 

 

The softball game against No. 2 Alabama is still going to be played at its 7 p.m. scheduled first pitch time.
