SOUTH CAROLINA (15-13, 6-9) AT MISSISSIPPI STATE (20-8, 8-7)

BROADCAST INFO: 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network with Kevin Fitzgerald and Sean Harrington, plus Neil Price and Richard Williams on the SEC Network.

SOUTH CAROLINA's LAST 5: L 81-65 at Arkansas, : 65-41 vs. Florida, L 70-67 at Tennessee, W 84-75 vs. Auburn, W 66-57 vs. Georgia.

MSU's LAST 5: W 67-63 vs. Alabama, L 89-85 at Missouri, L 81-80 at Vanderbilt, W 79-62 vs. Ole Miss, W 93-81 at Texas A&M.

WHAT SOUTH CAROLINA's DONE SINCE THE LAST MEETING: The loss to MSU was the second of a six-game losing streak, but I'm not sure how much weight I put into it: the four games that followed were at Texas A&M, at Arkansas, home vs. Florida and at Tennessee. I'm guessing at least 70 percent of Division I would do the same against that stretch. The nine-point win at home against Auburn is flat-out awesome, even if you want to water it down by pointing out that was the game in which the Auburn forward suffered that gruesome looking ankle injury.
