The Mississippi State University baseball team lost a series opener for only the third time in nine conference weekends in a 4-1 loss at No. 6 Florida. The Bulldogs dropped to 30-20 overall and 12-13 in league play, while the Gators continued a late-season push for a possible Eastern Division title, while moving to 37-13 and 15-10.
