Shots rang out in the Friendly City Easter Sunday.
Columbus Police Officer George Harris responded to a call made from 716 19th St. N. at 5:10 a.m. Sunday in reference to shots being fired into an occupied house. The complainant reported a black male threatened to kill her and fired two shots through her bedroom window. Police found two bullet holes on the east side of the residence.
Police have a suspect in the case but are not releasing his name nor the victim''s name at this time. No arrests have yet been made in the case. The investigation is being handled by Investigator Amanda Burrell.
Columbus Police responded to a Thursday afternoon call of an apartment burglary. At about 4 p.m. the resident of 601 Fifth Ave. N., Apt. 18, reported leaving her home at 8 a.m. and returning at 3:40 p.m. Upon arrival, she discovered her apartment door had been kicked in and a Dell laptop missing from the apartment.
While investigating the burglary, police discovered another apartment had been burglarized. The residence, Apt. 17 in the same complex, also had been broken into. The Apt. 17 resident, who was not aware of the incident when police contacted her, said the only thing missing was an HP laptop computer.
Both incidents are under investigation by Investigator Travis Robertson of the Columbus Police Department.

lil buck from northside tried to shoot his own sister he was geeked up or shall i say snorting cocain!!!! he about 4 foot 3 been the same height since he was 7 years old riding around on a bike drinking beer (KING COBRA) AND SMOKING CIGARETTES he is about 20 or 21 thats what i heard sad case for this lil youngster "They tried to make me go to rehab i said no, no ,no!!"
