GREENVILLE – A Greenville woman has been arrested in the death of her 3-year-old son, whose body was found in an oven.
Police Chief Freddie Cannon tells WXVT-TV that 24-year-old Terrie A. Robinson was arrested after police found her son inside the oven of her apartment shortly after midnight Wednesday. Police say the woman has been charged with murder.
Police say the child”s body had been burned but an autopsy was ordered to determine if the child died before or after being placed in the oven. They said the case is still being investigated. The child”s name has not been released.
Police say a little girl found in the home was placed in the care of the Department of Human Services.
