GREENVILLE - A Greenville woman has been arrested in the death of her 3-year-old son, whose body was found in an oven.
Police Chief Freddie Cannon tells WXVT-TV that 24-year-old Terrie A. Robinson was arrested after police found her son inside the oven of her apartment shortly after midnight Wednesday. Police say the woman has been charged with murder.
Police say the child''s body had been burned but an autopsy was ordered to determine if the child died before or after being placed in the oven. They said the case is still being investigated. The child''s name has not been released.
Police say a little girl found in the home was placed in the care of the Department of Human Services.

What is the world coming to ? How sad and how angry this makes me. A little child like that and what possible excuse could there be for doing what this woman did? I hope they put her UNDER the jail and she had better be glad that I'm not in charge, or I'd be looking for a large oven to see how she likes it!

This is horrible! I cannot imagine what goes through these peoples minds when they do these things. This is a prime example of the evil some people possess. I agree that she should be placed in an oven...then cooled off and put back in...Our world is so different today than when I was growing up...people have no morals anymore and they have no regard for human life. That little girl needs our prayers.

You people that dont like the first two comments, I am wondering what you dislike about them. Seeing they are very true statements. I think that people will start learning to not do these things if you make them go through the same thing they have put someone through. It is horrible that a young child has lost his life. My thoughts and prayers are with the girl and the carring family.

Seriously, what an inhumane act of insanity. This is why I will always stand for the death penalty. No appeals, do it by the book. I don't want my taxes used to sustain or "rehabilitate" such a merciless shell of a human being.

I wonder if this is another case of a woman who abused the father, who had no place to go with the children for help, so he left, not knowing the children, especially male, become the next target? This can be another result of the view that only men abuse.

This "woman" should be taken out back and shot. Period. I don't care if she is mad as a hatter, I don't want my tax money spent on a trial for her, prison for her, or anything else.
All of her problems can and should be solved for 30 cents.
