A GPS program loaded on a stolen laptop helped the Starkville Police Department apprehend a burglar Friday.
Willie James Jordan, 19, of 625 S. Mont-gomery St., Apt. 74, was apprehended after representatives from LoJack security systems contacted the SPD with tracking information from the laptop, which had been stolen in January. The computer was taken from one of three apartments burglarized in the Stonehenge complex where Jordan lives.
Jordan is charged with three counts of residential burglary and was held in the Clay County Jail Friday awaiting bond.
