The following sentences were handed down in the February term of the Lowndes County Circuit Court:
Judge Lee Howard
· Joshua Glenn, of 856 Golding Road, pleaded guilty to sexual battery and statutory rape. He was concurrently sentenced to two years in MDOC with three years of post-release supervision and was fined $500 and ordered to pay $1,800 in restitution to Lowndes County for a DNA test.
· Eric Childers, of 314 Montgomery St. S.E. in Russellville, Ala., pleaded guilty to burglary of a business. His seven-year sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections was suspended and he was given five years probation, fined $500 and ordered to pay $554.22 in restitution.
· Kenneth George Adair, of 200 Lampkin Road in Sulligent, Ala., pleaded guilty to uttering forgery. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision, was fined $1,000 and was ordered to pay $865 in restitution.
· Cory D. Brown, of 1916 Washington Ave., pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and fined $1,000.
· Beverly Ashcraft, of 4606 Cal-Kolola Road in Caledonia, pleaded guilty to uttering forgery. She was sentenced to five years in MDOC and was fined $1,000.
Judge Lee Coleman
· William Rush Jr., of 9401 N. Ridge Road in Caledonia, pleaded guilty to burglary of a business. His sentence was postponed until May 2.
· Dontrell Williams, of 814 13th St. N., pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He was sentenced to a year in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and was fined $1,000.
· David Glorioso, whose address was not listed, pleaded guilty to posession of pseudoephedrine more than 15 grams. He was sentenced to three years in MDOC with two years of post-release supervision and was fined $1,000.
· D”eandre Tate, whose address was not listed, pleaded guilty to sale of cocaine. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and was fined $5,000.
· Jeremy Yarbrough, of 10 Weathers Drive, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burglary of a business. He was concurrently sentenced to five years probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $700 in restitution.
· Raymond Barksdale, whose address was not listed, pleaded guilty to sale of marijuana less than 30 grams. He was sentenced to a year in MDOC with two years of post-release supervision and was fined $1,000.
· David Berry, of 1634 Tabernacle Road, pleaded guilty to grand larceny. His 10-year sentence in MDOC was suspended and he was given five years probation, fined $2,500 and ordered to pay $600 in restitution.
· Richard Spruill, of 3060 Tabernacle Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and embezzlement. He was consecutively sentenced, giving him a total of eight years in MDOC with five years of post-release supervision and $2,000 in fines. He was also ordered to pay a $20,000 fine for another charge.
