Local law enforcement agencies reported the following felony arrests:
Columbus Police Department
- Izell Antwan Turner Sr., 28, of 2001 Shannon Ave., was arrested Monday at Mac”s Meat Market in Columbus. He was charged with possession of marijuana more than an ounce.
- Stanley Lee Abrams, 41, of 127 Hanson Drive, was arrested May 12 at 1501 Main St. He was charged with domestic violence, third offense. His bond was set at $2,500.
- Lamarcus Omar Thompson, 23, of 77 Subdivision Road, was arrested at the Huddle House on Military Road. He was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling.
Lowndes County Sheriff”s Office
- Thad William Johnson, 27, of 958 Sand Road Lot I, was arrested Friday at his residence. He was charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance, sale of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor of possession of paraphernalia.
- Brandie Mechele Brooks, 25, of 284 Hildreth Road, was arrested Monday at her residence. She was charged with cyberstalking for email extortion. Her bond was set at $1,000.
- Eric Brian Thorn, 25, of 305 Cheryl Drive, was arrested May 11 at 527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive S. He was charged with domestic violence by aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $30,000.
- Christopher Roland Ross, 27, of 102 Maxwell Lane Apt. 14, was arrested May 12 in the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue North. He was charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, violation of parole and fleeing or eluding escape in a motor vehicle. He was also charged with these misdemeanors: Failure to yield to a blue light, failure to have proof of liability insurance, disobeying a traffic control device, driving without a drivers license and driving without a seatbelt.
- Natayia Jalese Evans, 19, of 1812 Seventh Ave. N., was arrested May 12 along with Ross in the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue North. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana more than an ounce.
- Vernon Brown Jr., 55, of 805 Spruce St., was arrested May 12 at McCrary Road and Forrest Boulevard. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession with intent to distribute.
- Titus Taviras Little, 21, of 815 13th St. N. Apt. B4, was arrested Friday at Bell Avenue and 19th St. S. He was charged with intimidation of a person involved in a trial.
