The Starkville Police Department arrested a pair of individuals Sunday in separate burglary cases.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers arrested Willie James Young, 48, of 903 1/2 Louisville St., Yellow Jacket Trailer Park Lot 3, for three auto burglaries committed at Peter”s Rock Church at 223 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The auto burglaries were committed while church was in session.
Another Starkville man, Orion Doris Schertzer III, 37, of 205 Lynn Lane Apt. 15-D, was arrested at approximately 10:30 p.m. for one count of residential burglary and one count possession of paraphernalia.
Schertzer is accused of burglarizing an apartment in his own neighborhood.
Both men were transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail where they are awaiting bond hearings.
