A Mississippi State University economist Tuesday will reveal the results of a study, looking at the economic impact of Columbus” Market Street Festival.
Dr. Al Myles of the MSU Extension Center will present the study”s findings at noon at the Columbus Country Club.
The study was compiled after surveying 343 of the May festivals more than 34,000 participants.
Festival organizers previously have estimated the festival brings more than $1 million into the local economy.
