The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office reports the following felony arrests:
- Scharla Syres Savors, 26, of 1424 Ninth St. S. in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 5 by the Columbus Police Department for cocaine possession. The court date is set for Nov. 28 and the bond is set at $5,000.
- Ross Allen Carr, 30, of 120 Smith Mitchell Road in Hattiesburg, was arrested Oct. 5 by the LCSO for grand larceny. He was released on bond Oct. 6 and the court date is set for Oct. 26.
- Mamie Lue Talley, 36, of 52 Coach Drive in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 6 by the LCSO for welfare/Medicaid/food stamp/ public assistance fraud. She was released on bond Oct. 6.
- Donald Steve Summerville, 51, of 891 Old Villa Rica Road in Temple, Ga., was arrested Oct. 8 by the LCSO for embezzlement. The court date has not been set.
- Tanga Denece McClinton, 38, of 2206 10th Ave. S. in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 8 by the CPD for cocaine possession. She also was charged with contempt of court and public drunkenness, misdemeanors. The court date is set for Oct. 26.
- Cody Jacob Swink, 24, of 1800 Spurlock Road in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 10 by the LCSO for possession of a controlled substance and burglary. His bond is set at $100,000 and the court date has not been set.
- Chris-topher Marcus Talbot, 38, of 50103 Greenwood Springs Road in Greenwood Springs, Miss., was arrested Oct. 10 by the LCSO for burglary. The court date has not been set.
- Dominico Joeta Saddler, 26, of 1103 Fifth St. S. in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 10 by the LCSO for domestic violence – aggravated assault with weapon. His bond is set at $10,000 and the court date has not been set.
- Anthony Montrel Betts, 30, 210 Deerfield Drive No. 26 in Columbus, was arrested Oct. 12 by the CPD for cocaine possession. He also was arrested for driving without a driver’s license, a misdemeanor. The court date is set for Nov. 3.
