The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, with help from the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit, has busted up an alleged methamphetamine lab.

According to Monroe County Sheriff Andy Hood, deputies were dispatched to serve an arrest warrant against Loyd A. Threadgill, who was wanted by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department for possession of precursors.

Law enforcement arrived Monday at 50088 Priestville Road in Gattman to execute the warrant. While they were there, a meth lab and treasure trove of precursors were found in the residence, officials said.

Deputies arrested Threadgill, 45, and charged him with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture. He will be extradited to Alabama following his posting bond.

Also arrested were Norma Lee Rogers, 36, of 570 Highway 278 in Sulligent, Ala. She was charged with felony possession of precursors with intent to manufacture.

Deputies also arrested Roger Dewayne Weeks, 42, of 4749 Mulberry Road in Sulligent, Ala. He was also charged with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture.

No bond or hearing has been set.
