Columbus police arrested one of the two men suspected of burglarizing a house in November. The burglary was caught on surveillance video.
Corey Smart, 24, of 1839 Plum Grove Road in Columbus, was arrested some time this morning in Macon. He is one of the two men police say are responsible for breaking into a home at 706 Eighth St. S. on Nov. 23 some time between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and midnight.
The incident was caught on video in one of the bedrooms of the residence. The video shows Smart and another black male with a handgun and repeatedly entering and exiting the bedroom while going through clothes and other belongings.
