The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office reports the following felony arrests:
- Devin Quintez Hawkins, 21, of 640 Cobb Road in Caledonia, was arrested Dec. 20 by the Columbus Police Department for possession of marijuana. Hawkins also was charged with misdemeanor counts of seat belt violation, driving without insurance and possession of paraphernalia. Hawkins’ bond is set at $2,029; the court date is Jan. 18.
- Joshua Clint Bolin, 24, of 205 Mulberry Road in Sulligent, Ala., was arrested Dec. 22 by the LCSO for possession of burglary tools and hindering prosecution. Bolin was released on a $2,500 bond; the court date is Dec. 29.
- Ciara Denise Calhoun, 21, of 1050 E. Brame Ave. No. 34 in West Point, was arrested Dec. 22 by the CPD on a charge of shoplifting. Calhoun was released on a $2,500 bond; the court date is Feb. 2.
- Meon Shuntay Clay, 24, of 1050 E. Brame Ave. No. 16 was arrested Dec. 22 by the CPD on a charge of shoplifting. Clay was released on a $2,500 bond; the court date is Feb. 2.
- Joshua Cody Otts, 25, of Highway 278 E. in Sulligent, Ala. was arrested Dec. 22 by the LCSO o a charge of hindering prosecution. Otts was released on a $2,500 bond; the court date is Dec. 29.
- Darryl Lorin Minnifield, 46, of 5033 Cassia Road in Pensacola, Fla., was arrested Friday by the LCSO on a charge of false pretense. Minnifield’s bond is set at $5,000; the court date has not been set.
- Cardios Montrell Barker, 31, of 74 Dove St. in Columbus, was arrested Saturday by the CPD for possession of cocaine. Barker was also charged with the misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended driver’s license and contempt of court. Barker’s bond is set at $6,453; the court date is Jan. 11.
- Angelo Montay Harris, 27, of 1005 Fourth St. S. in Columbus, was arrested Monday by the CPD for possession of a weapon by a felon. Harris’ bond is set at $626; the court date is Jan. 11.
