The Columbus Police Department is investigating a burglary and a possible attempted burglary from Friday.
At 3 a.m. Friday, Judy Joiner, of 1421 3rd Ave. N., Apt. B., reported she was asleep, in bed, when she was awakened by a loud noise at her front door. Joiner said she saw a black male, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, trying to enter her home.
At 6:40 p.m. Friday, Fairren Wallace, of 898 Waterworks Road, reported a 42-inch flat-screen TV, valued at about $700, missing from her home.
