The Columbus Police Department is investigating a series of Sunday burglaries that have targeted beauty salons.
Martha’s Kut & Kurl, located at 403 23rd St. N was burglarized July 29 according to CPD Public Information Officer Glenda Buckhalter. Beauty items and accessories were reported stolen from the salon.
Tray’s Too Unique Salon, located at 1702 8th Ave. S, was also reportedly burglarized on Sunday. Beauty supplies and accessories were stolen from the business.
Someone kicked in the door to Yvonne’s Day Spa and Salon on 2202 College St. on Sunday as well, Buckhalter said. “The alarm sounded and officers responded,” Buckhalter said. ” Nothing was reported missing from the business.”
