A Crawford man is dead following a Wednesday morning collision.
Carlos Williams, 32, was killed when his 1995 Honda Accord collided with a 2008 White Dodge driven by Wesley Fulton, 34, of Philadelphia. Criss Turnipseed of the Mississippi Highway Patrol said Fulton was traveling north on Highway 45 through the intersection with Highway 182 when he collided with the car driven by Williams.
“Williams was not wearing his seat belt and he was partially ejected from the vehicle,” said Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant. “He was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle where he was pronounced dead.”
Fulton did not suffer any injuries.
Turnipseed said the incident is still under investigation. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
