The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus Police Department:
Benjamin Colby Bishop, 27, of 171 Center St., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 10 and charged with possession of marijuana. He was released the same day on a $5,000 surety bond. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 13.
James Ray Conn, 23, of 2619 Yorkville Road E., was arrested by MDOC Sept. 10 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
Quinntinn Cartrail Ervin, 20, of 1412 23rd St. N., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 10 and charged with weapon possession by a felon. He has not been released.
Justin Donte Hill, 32, of 1412 23rd St. N., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 10 and charged with weapon possession by a felon, violation of probation and contempt of court. He has not been released.
Eddie Jacques Isaac, 22, of 719 20th St. N., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 10 and charged with the possession, sale or transfer of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana. He has not been released.
Devin Demartuis Thompson, 22, of 1171 Tabernacle Road, was arrested by CPD Sept. 10 and charged with three counts of aggravated assault, manifest extreme indifference to life. He was released the same day on a $75,000 surety bond.
Lafreda Shante Williams, 28, of 1109 9th Ave. N., was arrested by CPD Sept. 10 and charged with two counts of uttering forgery. She was released the same day. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 1.
Alvin Shantrell Johnson, 36, of 104 Brown St., was arrested by LCSO Sept.11 and charged with domestic violence. In addition, he had a hold order from MDOC. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 9.
Randi Jo Stokes, 30, of 11850 County Road 27, was arrested by LCSO Sept. 11 and charged with uttering forgery. She has not been released.
Cedric Deshun Williams, 39, of 1706 5th Ave. N., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 11 and charged with possession of cocaine and violation of probation. He has not been released.
