The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus Police Department:
Marco Black, 43, of 3946 Highway 182 E, Apt. 6-D, was arrested by LCSO Sept. 21 and charged with public drunkenness, failure to obey a police officer, resisting arrest and malicious mischief. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 23.
Jonathan Charles McFadden Cameron, 18, of 531 Young Road, was arrested by CPD Sept. 24 and charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building. He was released the same day on a $5,000 bond. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 6.
Steven Randolph Wittke, 29, of 4055 Cypress St., in Northport, Ala., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 25 and charged with possession of a weapon by a felon. He was released Sept. 26 on a $10,000 bond.
Fitzgerald Lamont Pratt, 27, of 2501 Fourth Ave. N., was arrested by LCSO Sept. 24 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
Joe Dewayne Metcalf, 46, of 102 Newbell Road, Apt. T35, was arrested by LCSO Sept. 23 and charged with possession of meth with the intent to manufacture. He has not been released.
Benton Douglas Houser Jr., 37, of 360 Pricsilla Circle, was arrested by LCSO Sept. 24 and charged with receiving stolen property and breaking and entering a dwelling-burglary. He is being held on a $20,000 bond. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 13.
Ashley Denise Halbert, 22, of 96 Luxapallia Drive, was arrested by CPD Sept. 25 and charged with shoplifting. She is being held on a $850 bond. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 14.
Jamarrell Antwan Brandon, 27, of 822 16th St. N., was arrested by CPD Sept. 24 and charged with sexual battery. He was released the same day on a $3,500 bond. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 1.
