Arrest Report 7/2/09

The following people were arrested on felony charges, according to reports released from the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office:


  • Marcus Rashad Rush, 18, of 1103 Eighth Ave. N. in Columbus, was arrested June 23 by the Columbus Police Department on one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling.


  • Rita Kay Wood, 48, of 2077 Honnell Mill Road in Caledonia, was arrested June 24 by the LCSO on one count of sale of a controlled substance, one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession or sale of methamphetamine precursors.


  • Tammy Janea White, 38, of 9900 Briarcliff Drive in Moss Point, was arrested June 24 by the LCSO on one count of possession or sale of methamphetamine precursors.


  • Marvin Dewayne Johnson, 30, of 1104 Railroad St. in Columbus, was arrested June 24 by the CPD on one count of aggravated assault with a weapon.


  • Mark Regan Hernandez, 44, of 10202 Highway 613 in West Point, was arrested June 24 by the LCSO on one felony count of possession or sale of methampetamine precursors and misdemeanor charges of driving with improper window tint, driving without an inspection sticker, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended driver's license. He is scheduled to appear in court July 23.


  • Freddy McGarity, 48, of 183 Shaw Drive in Millport, Ala., was arrested Friday on one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of methamphetamine precursors.


  • James Henry Underhill, 17, of 99 Nancy Drive in Caledonia, was arrested Friday by the Caledonia Town Marshals on two counts of burglary and one count of felony malicious mischief.


  • Willie Edward Wallace, 20, of 815 13th St. N., No. E-2, in Columbus, was arrested Friday by the CPD on one count of armed robbery.


  • Carl Gandy, 24, of 1926 Turkey Creek Road in Starkville, was arrested Friday by the LCSO on one count of aggravated assault with a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 17.


  • Stacy Tabb, 33, of 1950 Turkey Creek Road in Starkville, was arrested Friday by the LCSO on one count of aggravated assault with a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 17.
