Local candidates are also preparing for two non-partisan forums prior to May 7’s primary.
First, many aldermen candidates will discuss their platforms and ideologies Monday during a Greater Starkville Development Partnership forum. One day later, mayoral candidates will debate local issues in a Starkville High School-organized event.
Both events are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Greensboro Center on their respective days.
