The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Police Department:
Sugi Kamar Fox, 31, of 1801 3rd Ave. S., was arrested by CPD May 16 and charged with aggravated assault, manifesting extreme indifference to life. His court date is scheduled for July 18. Bond has been set at $2,500.
Jacob Aaron Gordey, 26, of 59 Tennaco Drive, was arrested at 357 Oswalt Road by LCSO May 18 and charged with driving under the influence, failure to yield to blue lights, resisting arrest, disobeying traffic control devices and reckless driving. His court date is scheduled for June 4.
Christopher Eugene Carr, 35, of 1148 County Road 121 in New Albany, was arrested at the Lee County jail by MDOC May 17 and charged with violation of probation.
Orlando Guyton, 39, of 1173 Old Yorkville Road, was arrested at 922 Railroad St., by CPD May 18 and charged with felony taking of a motor vehicle.
Johnny Will Lewis Jr., 38, of 1419 6th St. S., was arrested at his residence by CPD May 18 and charged with domestic violence and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for June 26.
Carlos Demonta Malone, 28, of 1066 Crowe Road, Lot 9, was arrested at the Lee County jail by MDOC and charged with violation of probation.
Dustin Clay McGee, 21, of 1408 Columbus St., in Fayette, Ala., was arrested at 510 Highway 45 N., by CPD and charged with felony possession of marijuana-3rd offense in two years, felony possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness. His court date is scheduled for May 29.
Jimmie Lynn Pierce, 42, of 911 12th St. N., was arrested in the K-Mart parking lot by LCSO May 15 and charged with forged, false or fraudulent prescription.
