The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:
Fred Arthur Jennings Sr., 65, of 1201 Sixth St. S., was arrested at Diamond Pawn and Gun by CPD June 21 and charged with the possession of a stolen firearm. He was released the same day on a $1,500 surety bond. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 1.
Jeffrey Charles Clark, 30, of 1018 Fourth Ave. S., was arrested at 1501 Main St. by CPD and charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault.
Johnathan Jeremy Jackson, 19, of 807 22nd St. N., was arrested at 22nd St. S. and College St., by CPD June 22 and charged with providing false information to law enforcement officers, threatening the life of a police officer, contempt of court and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for July 10.
Marvin Eugene Washington, 48, of 685 Steens Road, was arrested at the 2500 block of Steens Road by LCSO June 20 and charged with possession of cocaine, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of marijuana. His court date is scheduled for July 30.
Anthony Bernard Bailey, 33, of 784 Plum Grove Road, was arrested at 804 24th St. S. by CPD June 23 and charged with burglary.
Quinn Martez Wiley, 21, of 824 Sixth Ave. S., was arrested at the MDOC office and charged with violation of probation.
