CORINTH — Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley will hold a public meeting Thursday at the Alcorn County Courthouse focusing on broadband Internet access in north Mississippi counties.
The Daily Corinthian reports the hearing will be at 6 p.m. at the Alcorn County Courthouse.
Presley says he is pushing to have greater broadband service brought to the area. Comment from the hearing, he says, will be reported to the Federal Communications Commission.
Presley says other topics that can be discussed at the forum include the state’s No Call program and financial assistance for low-income ratepayers and other.
