MACON -- A Macon man and his wife were pronounced dead today afternoon after a shooting at their home on Walnut Street.
Henry Weston and his wife, Judy, were found dead shortly before 2 p.m. when authorities responded to their residence to investigate reports of gunshots.
"They both died of gunshot wounds, and both of their bodies are being sent to Jackson for full autopsies," said Noxubee County Coroner R.L. Calhoun. "That''s about all I can say about it right now, since the autopsies are pending and the investigation is ongoing."
The couple''s son, Henry Weston Jr., also had been shot. He was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle to be treated for a pair of gunshot wounds. As of 6:45 p.m., he remained in the hospital in an unknown condition.
"All I can say right now is that there are two deceased and one injured," said Macon Police Chief Petey Freshour. "The case remains under investigation."
The shooting may have been a murder-suicide, according to Noxubee County Democratic Party Chairman Ike Brown.
"It sounded to me like it was almost a triple murder," said Brown. "I''ve been hearing that the guy shot his wife and his son and then shot himself."

Does Ike have such wisdom because he is a democrat, because he was there, just heard a lot or just knows everything that happens in Noxubee county? Maybe we should just let the police do their job.
