The following cases were heard in the recent Circuit Court term:
Judge Jim Kitchens:
Jerome Marquez Abrams Jr., was charged with the sale of cocaine. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC.
Rebecca Bumgardner was charged with DUI-third offense. Her post release supervision was revoked and she was sentenced to three years in MDOC; and attend and complete a drug and alcohol program while in MDOC.
Anthony Corkren was charged with possession of methamphetamine. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC.
Johnny Craddieth pleaded guilty to DUI-third offense. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; one year house arrest; four years post release supervision; and a $2,000 fine.
Landon Dove pleaded guilty to two counts of uttering forgery. He was sentenced to 20 years in MDOC; 20 years suspended; five years probation; $500 fine; and $1,180 restitution. Three additional charges of uttering forgery were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Demarco Elliot pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to five years probation; a $500 fine; and $250 restitution.
Demonta Gardner pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He was sentenced to six years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years post release supervision; and $3,250 restitution. He is currently serving a 20 year sentence in MDOC for burglary of an occupied dwelling.
J.C. Gillespie pleaded guilty to felony fleeing. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years probation; a $500 fine; and $250 restitution.
Earnest K. Goodwin was charged with false pretense. The case was remanded to County Court.
Octavian Hodges was charged with burglary of a dwelling. The charge was reduced to simple assault and was remanded to Municipal Court.
Justin Holiness was charged with attempted hindering of prosecution. The charge was dismissed.
Lafredrick Jackson pleaded guilty to the sale of cocaine. He was sentenced to 30 years in MDOC; 10 years suspended; 20 years to serve; five years post release supervision; and a $5,000 fine. Charges of possession of cocaine and child endangerment were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Natasha Lester was charged with two counts of uttering forgery. The charges were retired to the files based on her guilty plea in a separate case.
Billy Livingston pleaded guilty to cyberstalking. He was sentenced to two years in MDOC; two years house arrest; and a $500 fine.
Quincy L. Martin was charged with grand larceny. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC; and attend and complete a drug and alcohol program while in MDOC.
Dawanda Oden pleaded guilty to shoplifting more than $500. She was sentenced to five years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years probation; a $500 fine; and $250 restitution.
Wanda Oden pleaded guilty to felony shoplifting. She was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; two years house arrest; five years post release supervision; a $250 fine; and $250 restitution.
Jessica Orr pleaded guilty to attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. She was sentenced to five years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years probation; and a $100 fine.
Ricky Palmer was charged with failing to register as a sex offender. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to four years and 11 months in MDOC.
Kevin Eugene Patterson was charged with possession of methamphetamine. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to serve four years in MDOC.
Brittany Ponds was charged with false pretense. Her post release supervision was revoked and she was sentenced to three years in MDOC.
Kelvin Roland was charged with possession of cocaine. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to serve four years in MDOC.
Michael Satterfield pleaded guilty to armed robbery and burglary of a dwelling. On the armed robbery charge, he was sentenced to serve eight years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; and $500 restitution. On the burglary of a dwelling charge, he was sentenced to four years in MDOC; and $19,532.20 restitution. The sentences are to run consecutively. A second charge of burglary of a dwelling was retired to the files based on his guilty pleas.
Timmie Ray Shields pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
Curtis Shirley pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to five years probation; a $500 fine; and $250 restitution.
Benjamin Sims was charged with possession of a stolen firearm. The charge was not prosecuted.
Hunter Stanley Sims pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He was sentenced to five years probation; a $500 fine; and $250 restitution.
Dominick Taylor pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to three years in MDOC; and a $250 fine. A charge of possession of cocaine was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Patrick Anthony Temple was charged with possession of cocaine. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to four years in MDOC. He was also charged with aggravated assault. His was sentenced to five years in MDOC. Sentences to run consecutive.
Izell Turner was charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault. The charge was not prosecuted.
Booker T. Washington was charged with burglary of a business. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to four years in MDOC.
Judge Lee Coleman:
Christopher Anderson pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to two years in MDOC; and a $1,200 fine. Four charges of receiving stolen property and grand larceny were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Bobby Bluitt Jr. pleaded guilty to burglary of an occupied dwelling. He was sentenced to six years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; a $1,200 fine; and $500 restitution. A charge of armed robbery was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Christopher Bounette pleaded guilty to felony shoplifting. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; and a $1,200 fine.
DeKario L. Brewer pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to seven years in MDOC; two years house arrest; five years post release supervision; and a $1,200 fine. A second charge of possession of marijuana was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Katie Cassidy pleaded guilty to possession of morphine. She was sentenced to 16 years in MDOC; 16 years suspended; five years probation; and a $1,200 fine.
Demarco Easterwood pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen firearm. He was sentenced to five years probation; and a $1,200 fine.
Davartex Fisher pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property. He was sentenced to five years probation; a $1,200 fine; and $1,557.93 restitution.
Rashard Givens pleaded guilty to two charges of burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced to eight years on each charge, to run consecutive; five years post release supervision; a $1,200 fine; and $10,123.83 restitution. Two charges of burglary and one charge of burglary of a dwelling were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Jatavous Gordon pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; 10 years suspended; five years probation, a $1,200 fine; and $500 restitution.
Matthew Gordon was charged with possession of marijuana. The charge was remanded to Justice Court.
Carlos Hawthorne pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to eight years in MDOC; five years suspended; three years to serve; five years post release supervision; and a $1,200 fine.
O.C. Henley pleaded guilty to the sale of cocaine. He was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; and a $5,000 fine. A second charge of the sale of cocaine was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Gina Hill was charged with possession of cocaine and child endangerment. The charges were dismissed.
Quincy Holmes pleaded guilty to robbery, reduced from armed robbery. He was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC; a $1,200 fine; and $900 restitution. He also pleaded guilty to taking a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC. Sentences are to run consecutive.
Sara Karlee pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling. She was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years probation; a $1,200 fine; and $105 restitution.
Justin D. Lee pleaded guilty to false pretense. He was sentenced to three years in MDOC; three years suspended; and a $1,200 fine.
Nathaniel Logan pleaded guilty to burglary of a business. He was sentenced to seven years in MDOC; five years probation; and a $500 fine.
Kent McGregory pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to eight years in MDOC; eight years suspended; five years probation; and a $1,200 fine. A charge of possession of marijuana while in jail was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Letavis J. Murry pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; 10 years suspended; five years probation; a $1,200 fine; and $325 restitution.
Joseph L. Page pleaded guilty to identity theft. He was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC; 15 years suspended; and five years probation. He also pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of an ID. He was sentenced to serve 15 years in MDOC; 15 years suspended; and five years probation. A second charge of fraudulent use of an ID was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Rodney Parker was charged with misdemeanor malicious mischief. The charge was remanded to Justice Court.
Jimmie L. Pierce pleaded guilty to attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC; three years suspended; two years to serve; five years post release supervision; and a $1,000 fine.
Stephanie Plowman pleaded guilty to false pretense. She was sentenced to three years in MDOC; one year house arrest; and two years probation.
Paul Reinitz was charged with home repair fraud. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to serve five years in MDOC.
Kevin Simon pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years to serve; five years post release supervision; a $1,200 fine; and $3,285 restitution. A charge of intimidating a witness was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Dedria Smith was charged with possession of Pseudoephedrine. The charge was dismissed.
Billy Joe Sparks was charged with grand larceny. The charge was not prosecuted.
Thomas Steadman was charged with grand larceny. The charge was reduced to petit larceny and was remanded to Justice Court.
Demarcus Swanigan was charged with grand larceny. The charge was retired to the files.
Eric Thorn was charged with cyberstalking. The charge was reduced to telephone harassment and remanded to Municipal Court.
Joctavious Wall pleaded guilty to the sale of cocaine, He was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC; and a $5,000 fine. He also pleaded guilty to a second charge of the sale of cocaine. He was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; and a $5,000 fine. Sentences are to run consecutive. Two charges of armed robbery and burglary of a dwelling were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Billy White pleaded guilty to the sale of amphetamine. He was sentenced to 13 years in MDOC; five years post release supervision; and a $5,000 fine. A charge of the sale of hydrocodone was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Judge Lee Howard:
Lovantrice Deon Baldwin pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to eight years in MDOC; and a $5,000 fine.
James Belk was charged with burglary of a building. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to four years in MDOC.
William Boyd IV was charged with simple assault on a police officer. The charge was not prosecuted.
Mac Burke was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC.
Sarah Elizabeth Burrage was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to five years in MDOC; and to attend and complete a long term drug and alcohol treatment program while at MDOC.
Jessica Cannon was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was not prosecuted.
Tyrone Clay pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, reduced from the sale of cocaine. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to eight years in MDOC. Two additional charges of the sale of cocaine and one charge of child endangerment were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Tomarcus Davis was found guilty of receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; one year house arrest; four years post release supervision; and a $2,000 fine.
Schronda F. Eddins was charged with false pretense. Her post release supervision was modified.
Paul E. Eggleston Jr. pleaded guilty to simple assault on an police officer. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC; one year suspended; four years to serve; one year post release supervision; and a $500 fine. He also pleaded guilty to cyberstalking. He was sentenced to two years in MDOC; and a $500 fine. Sentences are to run consecutive. Additional charges of cyberstalking, aggravated assault on a police officer and simple assault on a police officer were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
James Foreman pleaded guilty to shoplifting-third. He was sentenced to five years in MDOC; two years suspended; three years to serve; two years post release supervision; and a $500 fine. A second charge of shoplifting-third was retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Dewayne Gardner pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, reduced from the sale of cocaine. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to eight years in MDOC. Two charges of the sale of cocaine were retired to the files based on his guilty plea.
Christopher Gandy was found guilty by a jury of possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 30 years in MDOC; five years suspended, 25 years to serve; five years post release supervision.
Tavarris Guyton was charged with possession of marijuana. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to eight years in MDOC.
Jeremiah Howard was charged with taking of a motor vehicle. The charge was retired to the files based on his guilty plea in another case.
Lavoris Jackson was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was not prosecuted.
Derek Johnson was charged with burglary. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to seven years in MDOC.
John Allen Jones pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to six years in MDOC; five years suspended; one year to serve; five years post release supervision; and a $1,000 fine.
Stephen Jourdan was charged with DUI-third offense. The charge was dismissed.
Danny Lewis was charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault. The charge was not prosecuted.
Adrian Lowery was charged with grand larceny. The charge was not prosecuted.
Tony Martin Jr. was charged with malicious mischief. His probation was modified and he was ordered to attend and complete a sentence in a restitution center. After completion, he will be returned to post release supervision. MDOC’s restitution center program provides an alternative to incarceration for minimal risk offenders who are in need of a more structured environment. Residents serving time in a restitution center are referred to as residents. Residents who qualify for the restitution center program are required to work and pay full or partial payments to crime victims. Residents also have to pay room and board fees ($10 per day), court fees and establish a savings account. Residents are required to serve a minimum of 40 hours of free community service.
Anthony McGee pleaded guilty to felony fleeing of a law enforcement officer. He was sentenced to five years probation; one year in the county jail; and a $1,000 fine.

Robert Murry pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 20 years in MDOC; 10 years suspended; 10 years to serve; five years post release supervision; a $2,000 fine; and $46,615.84 restitution.
Rafael Payne was charged with felony shoplifting. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to two years in MDOC.
Earnest Todd Petrash pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. He was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
Marshall Porter was charged with burglary of a dwelling. The charge was reduced to trespassing and was remanded to Justice Court.

Dustin “Dusty” Snider was charged with possession of oxycodone and conspiracy. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to five years on each charge. Sentences to run concurrent.
Sherry Tedford pleaded guilty to embezzlement. She was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; five years suspended; five years to serve; five years post release supervision; a $1,000 fine; and $4,246.85 in restitution.
Lashunda M. Tyler pleaded guilty to aggravated assault-domestic violence. She was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; 10 years suspended; five years probation; a $500 fine; and $1,498 restitution.
Roy Wallace Jr. was charged with shoplifting. His post release supervision was revoked and he was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC; and attend and complete a drug and alcohol treatment program while in MDOC.
Joseph M. Wingard was charged with DUI- third offense. The charge was not prosecuted.
