The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office and the Columbus Police Department: 

 

 

 

  • Charles Leonard Durden Jr., 58, of 818 Danna Drive, was arrested Feb. 15 at Walmart by CPD and charged with grand larceny-more than $500. He was released the same day on $3.500 bond. His court date is scheduled for April 17. 

     

  • Darion Jermaine Murphy, 32, of 818 Danna Drive, was arrested Feb. 15 at Walmart by CPD and charged with grand larceny-more than $500. He was released the same day on $2,500 bond. His court date is scheduled for April 17. 

     

  • Cecil Lavelle Harrison Jr., 45, of 38 Crews Drive, was arrested Feb. 13 at Family Medical Center, 1503 Highway 45 N., by CPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was released Feb. 17 on $2,500 bond. His court date is scheduled for March 6. 

     

  • Emmanuel Ledrew Harrison, 26, of 3005 Nashville Ferry Road E., was arrested Feb. 14 at Pear Orchard Apartments, Apt. 159 by LCSO and charged with burglary-breaking and entering a dwelling. 

     

  • Joshua Cole Harrison, 31, of 149 Ora Lane, was arrested Feb. 18 at 4530 Wolfe Road by MDOC and charged with violation of probation. 

     

  • Timothy Moody Lowe, 54, of 125 Beck Drive, was arrested Feb. 18 at the MDOC office and charged with violation of probation. 

     

  • Justin James Painter, 22, of 2185 Cal Steens Road, was arrested Feb. 17 on the 1600 Block of Nash Road by LCSO and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license, possession of marijuana and providing false information to law enforcement officers. His court date is scheduled for March 25. 

     

  • Jared Rashad Reed, 25, of 901 11th St. S., Apt. K3, was arrested Feb. 16 at Eighth St. N. and Second Ave. N., by CPD and charged with improper equipment, providing false information to law enforcement officers, no insurance, no drivers license, the sale of marijuana and the sale of a controlled substance. He was released the next day on $12,195 bond. His court date is scheduled for March 6. 

     

  • Jarvis Lang Salters, 32, of 32 Matilda Drive, was arrested Feb. 15 at Seventh Ave. N. and 20th St. N., by CPD and charged with possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine and improper parking or stopping. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 26. 

     

  • Devan Diana Schoen, 25, of Millport, Ala., was arrested Feb. 15 on Steens Road by LCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance. 

     

  • Joseph Eddie Adkins II, 24, of Hamilton, Ala., was arrested Feb. 15 at the Lamar County Jail in Vernon, Ala., by LCSO and charged with two counts of felony taking of a motor vehicle and burglary of a commercial building.  

     

  • Billy Joe Sims, 59, of 155 Eskridge Drive, was arrested Feb. 18 at Waverly Ferry and Highway 45 N., by CPD and charged with felony driving under the influence-third offense, driving with a suspended drivers license-suspended due to prior DUI and driving with no insurance. His court date is scheduled for March 19. 

     

  • Jamie Javarous Taylor, 20, of 204 Meadow Drive, was arrested Feb. 18 by CPD and charged with felony conspiracy to commit a crime. He was released the same day on $2,500 bond. His court date is scheduled for April 17. 

     

  • Keisha Carothers White, 36, of West Point, was arrested Feb. 16 at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office by LCSO and charged with two counts of uttering forgery.
