OCEAN SPRINGS — Four people involved in a shooting in Ocean Springs on Friday night have been charged with making counterfeit money at a motel in Ocean Springs
Police tell The Sun Herald they found 32-year-old Richard Lamar Englebert shot in the left forearm at the Studio 6 motel late Friday.
He told police he was shot by a man driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu, and Biloxi police arrested three others after spotting the car.
They arrested 45-year-old Alexander Scott Landry of Jackson, 35-year-old Patricia Lee McMichael of Bynum and 31-year-old Maegan Drennan of Vancleave.
After police found counterfeit money in a hotel room, they charged all four with possession of tools to counterfeit U.S. currency and of counterfeit notes.
Landry has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
