Columbus Municipal School District unveiled a new website last week.
The website debuted Wednesday afternoon in an effort to make it easier for parents to obtain knowledge about the inner workings of the district, according to CMSD media contact Jannette Adams.
“The purpose for the redesign was to give the district’s website a fresh new look, making it easier to navigate and more informative for all stake holders, including parent, students, staff and the community,” Adams said in an email to The Dispatch Friday.
Designed by Kathy Jacobs Design & Marketing, LLC of Starkville, the new website cost the district $5,895. It was approved during the August 11 school board meeting.
The new site offers news and announcements, lunch menus, football game schedules, as well as links for parents, teachers and students.
The page can be found at columbuscityschools.org.
