The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two men responsible for the armed robbery of a Crawford convenience store.
According to investigator Ryan Rickert, two men wearing black hoodies and bandanas over their faces entered the Farmer’s Market Grocery at approximately 10:15 p.m. Thursday. The men brandished firearms and demanded money from the clerk. Rickert declined to release what type of weapons were involved. The men stole an unknown amount of money and left the scene in a dark colored pickup truck or SUV with loud pipes, according to a LCSD press release.
