Dunn & Hemphill is branching out with a new office set to open Feb. 2 in Amory. Dunn & Hemphill was originally known as Dunn & Webb and was founded in 1976 by W. David Dunn and Frank Webb. Frank Webb later retired and the firm name was changed to Dunn & Hemphill in 2001, with the addition of Christopher D. Hemphill as partner. Sarah Cline Stevens, who has been practicing with Dunn & Hemphill since August 2010, will be the sole attorney in the Amory location. The new office will be located in the historic Vinegar Bend building and will offer all of the same practice areas as the main office located in Columbus.
Stevens is an Amory native and a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. In May 2010, she received her juris doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and passed the Mississippi bar in July 2010. For the past four years Sarah has been focusing her practice on estate planning and elder law, particularly within the field of long term care planning. Sarah also has extensive experience regarding conservatorships, probate and estate administration.
