Chick-fil-A in Starkville will host the “Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series of Starkville” to benefit The Palmer Home for Children, according to a press release from Chick-fil-A.
The races will be held Saturday. The 10K and 5K races will begin at the Starkville Daily News Office at 8 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. A 1-mile Family Fun Run will follow at 9:30 a.m.
To register for the races, go to CFAraceseries.com. The registration fee is $25 before Saturday and $30 the day of the race. The registration fee for the 10K race is $30 before Saturday and $35 the day of the race. A 10 percent discount will be applied to total registration costs for groups of four or more runners. All participants will receive a dri-fit shirt.
The Palmer Home for Children is a Christian organization that provides homes for children in need.
“We’re honored to host the Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series to support the Palmer Home,” said Chick-fil-A franchise Operator in Starkville, Jon Munger. “It’s a great chance for us to bring people together and have a positive impact on the Starkville community at the same time.”
Chick-fil-A will also host a free Family Fun Zone for children at the finish line.
