In May, a 5-year-old Columbus business will move downtown.
Bliss Yoga, which opened in 2010, is moving from 220 Fifth St. S. to the old Alford Drug Building at 425 Main St. The studio — the only business in Columbus dedicated entirely to yoga — will open its doors at the new location May 15, according to owner Marissa Ceci.
Ceci bought the business from Jill Williams earlier this year. Williams made the move to “bring a deeper focus back to her family,” according to the studio’s website.
Ceci told The Dispatch this week that the change of locations will better suit Bliss Yoga’s needs. The Fifth Street location has carpet flooring and Ceci wants to get into a location that does not. The interior at 425 Main St. is being upgraded in anticipation of the move. The location, which covers 1,700 square feet, has laminated wood flooring.
Bliss Yoga has between 75 and 100 clients, according to Ceci. The business prides itself on welcoming any client — from exercise enthusiasts to “couch potatoes.” Ceci said any goal any client wants to set can be identified and met.

DAG Concierge is ready for business in the Golden Triangle. What is that?
Manager Allene Glenn, in an email to The Dispatch this week, said it is a “concierge business that will manage the lifestyles of individuals.”
“My business partners and I think this will be a great service for the Golden Triangle area, especially since the area is constantly growing,” Glenn said. “We are super excited to help relieve a little stress in someone’s life by handling some of his or her personal needs.”
The business offers babysitting services, errand running, grocery shopping, gift shopping, reservations and more. Anyone living in the Golden Triangle can be a client, Glenn said. The target customers, though, are working mothers, busy parents, busy executives, bed-rest patients and college students.
The business opened April 20. It has three full-time employees.
“We also have future plans on hiring more staff across the state,” Glenn said.
